About

Our Commitment

Heating and Cooling Equipment at wholesale prices with Good/Better/Best options configured to your specific needs. Sub-components will be itemized where possible. This is one reason you cannot trust online pricing as, for instance, "a boiler" may or may not include the motor and/or controls required to operate it as there are often several vendors to choose from for such components.

What You Get,
Truth and Transparency

Cost to remove, and dispose of, your old equipment. You may not believe it but there are unscrupulous low ball contractors that quote the cheapest equipment and "installation" all in one cost. Often they don't even include the labor to de-install and dispose of your old equipment. We itemize everything that we can. Cost to reconfigure plumbing, wiring, ducting etc. to accept your new equipment configuration. This maybe a very minor expense or a very costly expense but it's something you need to know as a separate cost from "installation.

Our Approach

Cost of installation

We do not just send "anyone" to install such a critical operational piece of equipment that is truly an investment in your home's value. If you are replacing a hydronic system, i.e. a boiler that moves water to heat, we aren't going to send an HVAC contractor that specializes in furnaces that move air to heat. There is incredible specialization in the heating and cooling industry and these specialized contractors have been our customers for years.

Post installation follow-up

Warranty registration with the manufacturer. Warranty documentation is very important and often overlooked until service is needed and you can't find the serial number, model number, date of installation or maybe even remember the installation contractor. Also, if you sell your home a excellent aide in that process is accurate documentation of those "things in the basement" Rebate and tax incentive forms if applicable. Not to mention the most important question: Are you completely satisfied with your investment?

Expertise and Experience.

Each of our in-location sales people have between 10 -30 years experience in the industry. The average level of experience is 19 years.

Warehouse and Delivery

Probably the least appreciated aspect of any supply house is the critical need to have a superior and well organized warehouse. We receive equipment and immediately log serial numbers on major equipment. Oddly this is not typical for a supply house and comes in handy in many ways for our contractors and our homeowners. We ship and deliver to homes and job sites throughout the NY Metro area. We are proud to be "The fastest warehouse in the business."

OUR STORY

ICS is an expanded version of Border Sales which has been a fixture in Westchester County for over 60 years. In 1986 William “Bill” Owen purchased Border Sales and quickly expanded the business to Northern Westchester with the opening of our location in Bedford Hills.

Bill Owen passed away in June of 2016 and his son Phil is now the managing owner of ICS. ICS has always been and always will be a supplier to plumbing and heating contractors throughout the NY Metro area. The goal here at ICS is always to support our contractors with value driven, affordable equipment and supplies as well as with training, education and new technology programs. Why choose InterCounty Supply?

Moving ICS into the distribution of air conditioning equipment and supplies is a logical and organic expansion that is predicated on the market needs for efficient air handling systems for cooling and heating. We are suppling the most technologically effective and efficient systems from Bosch, Buderus, Weil-McLain, Navien and more. Look for further expansion into Solar Power as the HVAC industry takes advantage of the market demands for distributed energy resources (DER) where end users generate their own electricity to power their homes and businesses – making their use of energy more effective and efficient leading to less dependence on the utility industries. When you heat and cool a home or a business you want effective, efficient valuable comfort technology.
